One sample t-test with Rest 1.8

Submitted by Wei on

Dear experts,

I got some problems with Rest 1.8 while doing statistics for fALff. mfAllf-1 files are generated by Rest strictly following the course video.

1. About mask: If I leave the mask option empty, does it mean that Rest will run the default mask or whole brain? Is there any default mask in Rest programme that I can use?

2. I use DMN mask created by Pickatlas. This mask was tested in SPM before for statistics analysis and it worked well. But when I put it into Rest, It comes back with errors.

Read 3D EPI functional images: "N:\test1\mfALFF-1"...

rsfMRI Parkinson's Progressive Marker Initiative - Slice shifting

Submitted by LuisPerazaRo on

Dear Forum,

I downloaded the rsfMRI baseline from the Parkinson's Progressive Marker Initiave, but the odd thing is that all fMRIs look like the image below. There is a shift motion or slope every 8 slices but there is no information on internet about this kind of acquisition. Also articles using this database doesn't mention this characteristic in their Methods section. I wonder if somebody in this Forum has worked before with this database and faced this problem.

Many thanks, Luis R. Peraza

preprocessing for oblique acquisition of functional images

Submitted by Ekaterina on

Hello,

I would like to ask a very basic question regarding the preprocessing procedure of functional images acguired in oblique axial direction (100%). The check normalization pictures look pretty good.

I am obtaining slightly different results if those images are normalised to EPI or T1, espcially some lack of activation in the very rostral frontal areas?

Do you think that an extra step should be used during the preprocessing of oblique images using dpabi? Reorientation?

Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ekaterina

calculate functional connectivity in new ROIs after dpabi calculation

Submitted by JungLungHsu on

Dear Prof.

I am new in using dpabi and have 2 questions

1. after I define AAL ROI and finish dparsfa process, then I try to calculate a new function connectivity between new ROI_1 and ROI_2, could you please tell me how to do that ?

2. I use Matlab2012a in CentOS6.5 and latest version of dparsfa, when I run the process, every thing is ok but I finally get error message:  what I can do ?

thanks help

Folder structure

Submitted by richard.bethlehem on

Dear DPARSF users,

Having not used DPARSF in a while I was wondering whether anything has changed with regards to the folder structure as it seems my subject are not loading.. All my files are already completely pre-processed so I am mainly aiming to use DPARSF for some ReHo and SCA analyses.

My folder structure is:

../ReHo1/Subject001/Subject001.nii.gz

../ReHo1/Subject002/Subject002.nii.gz

../ReHo1/Subject003/Subject003.nii.gz

etc.

Error creating connectivity matrices

Submitted by chelsmar on

Hello,

I am new to graph theory and I'm trying out GraphVar (thank you for this toolbox, by the way!).  I created ROI timeseries data using DPARSFA and I am now trying to create connectivity matrices for each subject within GraphVar.  I'm running into an error message and I wonder if it's a problem with our stats toolbox or with the ROI signal files or something I haven't considered?  We have checked and rechecked the matlab stats package license and everything seems ok.

So here is what I do:

1. Load Brainregions.csv and Variables.csv files.
