Use DPABI/DPARSF for task-based fMRI analysis without T1 images

Submitted by lindazhang on

Hi Dr Yan,

Thanks for releasing the useful DPABI/DPARSF. But the problem I am encountered now is: my data doesn't include T1 images, so cannot conduct Segement by DPABI/DPARSF. Then furtherly, I cannot use the motion correction steps which is very important when constructing the functional network. So do you have any advice for handling this situation? Or there is something I have not figure out of using this toolbox?

Thanks a lot.

Best,

Linda

Research Position Open (Assistant or Associate Professor level) at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Submitted by YAN Chao-Gan on

The Institute of Psychology (IP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) warmly invites applications for a full-time faculty position at Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful applicants would be expected to focus on the computational methods of functional brain imaging, spontaneous brain activity modulation, and their clinical applications in brain disorders (particularly for affective disorders).

Statistical Analysis

Submitted by ladansh on

Hi all.

I am quite new to REST and SPM, so my question might sound silly.

I want to do statistical analysis on ReHo and ALFF maps. I watched the DPARSF course videos and it says that in order to perform Statistical analyisis (One- Sample t Test), I have to calculate mReHo-1.

correct me if I am wrong, It means that the null hypothesis would be : mReho-1 = 0. Which in turn means that I would be looking for voxels in which mReho is greater than one.

I do not quite get the theory behind this... why not compare the results with 0 instead of 1?

Hi, I have some questions when I use the dpabi to process the data : When I open the Viewer button , the error occured as bellow: Error using subsindex Function 'subsindex' is not defined for values of class 'matlab.ui.Figure'. How is the relations between ALFF, ReHo and fALFF?

Submitted by daiqingshi on

Dear Dr. Yan,
Have any studies examined the relations betweeen ALFF, ReHo and fALFF?
In my studies, the ReHo of LIFG were negatively associated with task effect of inferior LIFG, while the ALFF of LIFG was positively associated with task effect of superior LIFG. So I am interesting in the relations among these three indices.
thanks.

SPM marsbar problem

Submitted by aynur.k on

Dear Experts,

I would like to extract the ROIs of DMN using the  coordinates of one of the related studies (i.e. Yeo et all or Van dijk et al).

My question is what determines the sphere radius?

Could I increase the radius to include as much voxels as possible without merging into neighboring regions?

Moreover, it would be great if you could help me with any alternatives.

Thank you!

Undefined function 'y_Write' for input argument 'nifti'

Submitted by Dina Dajani on

I am getting an error when I try to run preprocessing with DPARSF_V3.1 (error is attached) but basically it says there is an undefined function 'y_write' for the input argument 'nifti'

I also attached my pipeline.

Thank you for any assistance,
