RFMRI.ORG is back to work

Submitted by RFMRI.ORG on

Dear all,

The R-fMRI Network (RFMRI.ORG) experienced server down for two days because of a server issue of our web service provider. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Now it come back to work, hope you enjoy it.

P.S., because we didn't raise enough money through the community yet, we have downgraded the web service from optimum plan ($99.99/month) to basic plan ($24.99/month). The website on the basic plan is getting a little slower, but it's functioning well.

self defined ROI

Submitted by lihong001 on

 Dear Chao-Gan,

In previous DPARSF version, there is an option to upload self-defined ROI directly to the program. Now dpabi seems only accept .mat file for self-defined ROI, is that true?  I did not make the ROI baed on the center voxel and radius, rather there are functional ROIs. How can you make the .mat file for self-defined ROIs? Thanks,

a basic question about alff

Submitted by fish on

Dear Dr. Yan,

Sorry to bother you some basic questions, I want to know what I will get after two-sample t-test by using ALFF, the data I uesd mALFF. Second, if I used VOI in spm to extract significant value from two-sample t-test by using ALFF, what's the value represent? Third, if I have used covariates such as gender in the two-sample t-test, after that I extracted value to do correlation, should I use partial correlation, I mean regress out gender covariates again?

How to choose the scrubbing method in DPARSFA?

Submitted by Yangmei Luo on

Dear Dr. Yan,

How to choose the way to scrub method in DPARSFA? Could you give me some suggestions on this issue?

My reviewer asked me to scrub the bad data on a RS-fMRI paper. I used DPARSFA to do this following the reviewer. However, he said “the scrubbing method implemented in DPARSF only adds a regressor for the time point in question and is less rigorous than that described in Power et al 2012 or 2014, which removes the time points and adds synthetic data”.

Minimum cluster size from GRF correction

Dear DPABI expert:

I was using the DPABI Viewer function to call up the ReHo statictical image and applied GRF correction (80percent group mask, voxle p=0.01, cluter p=0.01, two-tailed) to determine the significant regions.

The degree of smooth following the parameters set as above was :

NBS analysis

Forums

Dear GraphVar users,

I would like to run an analysis with NBS in GraphVAR. I use to run NBS with the NBS1.2 toolbox in SPM8. I am a little confused with the different options in GraphVar. Could someone help me? I attach a capture of my workspace to see you the options I have chosen.

Can someone explain to me how to choose the threshold t as in NBS1.2?

Where can I choose the number of permutations? Is it in the "number of repetition" part of the workspace?

Thanks for your help,

All the best,

Cha
