Seeking Collaborators for data processing of functional connectivity, resting state fMRI

Submitted by sergio108 on

Hello to everyone.

We have already collected data of resting state fMRI on 23 meditators and 23 equivalent controls. We need now to process the data and find results, preprocessing was done under SPM12.

So the purpose of this collaboration is to find someone with good knowledge on functional connectivity resting state data processing that could help us on the data processing and analisys.

We offer co-authorship in any paper related.

Those interested, please contact me by e-mail at

Best regards to all.

My name is Sergio Elías, I am professor at the University of La Laguna, Spain. In 2011 we  started a new research on meditation and neuroscience. We have done research on fMRI under meditation and brain morphometry on meditators (VBM). We collaborate on this research with a professor at University Jaume I in Spain and one professor at King’s College University of London.

Hi Sergio,

Thanks for sharing such an open collaboration opportunity!

Meditation is pretty interesting, and probably would be an important therapy for many psychiatric disorders.

Though I am very interested in such a project, my lab currently is shorting of man power yet. However, I could offer methodological assistance and consultation if you think that would be helpful.
