Premature termination after realign and estimate

Submitted by MC on

Dear DPARSFA experts:

   I just started using thie toolbox for rs-fmri analysis. I set the parameters using the default of 'Calculate in MNI Space (warped by  DARTEL)'. However, after running 'Realign: Estimate & Reslice' for all subjects, I received the message in a pop-up windwo 'No co*T1 image (T1 image which is reoriented to the nearest orthogonal direction to ‘canonical space’ and removed excess air surrounding the individual as well as parts of the neck below the cerebellum) is found. DO you want to use the T1 image without co? Such as : xxxxxx001.moo? Yes/ No'.

    I selected 'No' and the processing just stopped there.

   Could you kindly help resolve this issue?

    Thanks a lot.

Hi Ming-Ching,
In such a case, just click "yes", the program will use the only T1 image to proceed.

Best,

Thanks for your reply. I clicked 'Yes' and then was faced with this "Reorienting T1 Image Interactively for subjextxxx:" in the Matlab command window together with an  T1 image indicating a good QC socer ; for this image, I am not sure if I should reset the origin manually and I did try, it turned out I had to do this manual reorientation for all the subjects. If I just closed the image window, I received the following error message:

Reference to non-existent field 'ReorientMat'.

Error in DPARSFA_run (line 1028)
        mat=y_spm_image_Parameters.ReorientMat;

Error in DPARSFA>pushbuttonRun_Callback (line 1670)
    [Error]=DPARSFA_run(handles.Cfg);

Error in gui_mainfcn (line 96)
        feval(varargin{:});

Error in DPARSFA (line 30)
    gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:});

Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback

I am not sure what went wrong and hence onace again appreicate any input.

Hi,

I suggest you to go over the vedios at http://rfmri.org/Course to see how the reorienting and QC procedures are.

If you really don't want to do the reorienting and QC procedures, you can check off the boxes of "Reorient T1*" "Reorient Fun*".

Best,
