Intensity normalization in T1 when using VBM module

Hello to everyone.

 

I used the VBM module employing DARTEL segmentation in order to segment and spatially normalize a sample of T1 sequences.

Now I would like to perform further analysis using the files swco_ obtained from the segmentation, i.e. the entire brains spatially normalized (please advise me if I'm misinterpreting this kind of file).

 

The question is, was some kind of intensity adjustment applied to the original T1 during the preprocessing steps?

And so: can I directly compare the intensity of a given voxel among all the swco_ files obtained?
