FC roi signal extraction

Dear all, 

 

I was wondering about the possibility to extract a specific ROI signal of the ZROIxFCmap (resulting from the FC) and then correlations with different questionnaires.

 

Is it a good approximation???

Hi,

You can use DPABI->Utilities->ROI Signal Extractor to extract the FC values from ZROIxFCmaps. And then use Statistical Analysis->Correlation Analysis to correlate with questionnaires.

Hi again, 

Thank you so much, I performed the analysis like you said, but my doubt is related to de procedure. I've seen several papers doing the same procdure with ReHo and alff, but never with the zROIXFCMap.

There are many studies tested the relationship between zFC values and behavior traits. E.g., Chabernaud, C., Mennes, M., Kelly, C., Nooner, K., Di Martino, A., Castellanos, F.X., Milham, M.P., 2012. Dimensional brain-behavior relationships in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Biol Psychiatry 71, 434-442.
