Hello,
just a general Functional Connectivity / ROI question: is there something like a "minimum size" required for a ROI to perform valid statistics? Would like to know your opinion on that.

Dear Dr. Yan,

I have read your recent paper in Neuroimage about head motion, very informative. I have serveral questions:

1)The whiskers bar figures present your results very clear. It looks better than the traditional whiskers bar.

should i change the voxel size 3 3 3 fixed in dparsf to 2 2 2, that is fixed in SPM 8 when default mode ?

Rehomap was created and overlayed over an ch2 template, now i want find the clusters having hypometabolism or in different contrast.
can i use xjview for that, can rehomap be used?

1. 我现在不是resting-state fMRI，可否用rest包里的AlphaSim?
2. 我的voxel size是4x4x5，我rmm应该设置成多大呢？
3. 我在处理fMRI图像的时候，用了8x8x8的平滑，我直接设置FWHM为8可以吗？还是说一定要用估计的FWHM？

想请教两位老师，我的有的文献上在灰质模板上展现VBM的结果很好看，也想做出这样的图片（第一张图），但是用DARTEL最后生成的第6个灰质平均模板（第二张图）发现这个模板比平时rest里和xjview里的模板（第三张图）要扁一些，尤其是在冠状位上，请问怎么才能得到第一张图那种灰质模板呢？

您好！我尝试采用REST1.8的AlphaSim方法对SPM的统计结果（任务fMRI）进行矫正，有几个细节不是很清楚，见下：

1）rmm：这个默认值是5mm，我想问一下选择这个值的依据是什么（或者这个参数的意义是什么）？

2）FWHM：在REST1.8版本中，已经采用了自动的方法进行估算（根据一个spmT.img以及一个mask.img），但是估算出来的结果相当大。我查了一下对应的（组分析）SPM.mat中SPM.xVol.FWHM是[6.8625 7.0820 6.8962]，但是REST自己估算出来的值却是[19.709 23.452 20.767].请问两者的区别是什么原因造成的？

臧老师，严老师好，我现在以右侧vmPFC（6 36 -9）（Liu et al., 2010）为种子点，做默认网络。然后得到默认网络的zmap图像，在spm，进行多元回归分析，求和被试的行为指标相联系的功能连接区域，同时把年龄和性别作为协变量。结果发现，除了一些脑区外，右侧的vmPFC(9 -36 -9)和种子点连接成显著的正相关，因此不清楚，为什么会出现这种情况？很少发现种子点与种子点连接很强的现象，谢谢
