ReHo questions

Submitted by sharky on

Dear Colleagues,

I.

Would it be possible to implement calculation of a network homogeniety in the context of ReHo..  How would you do that? Would you just calculate KCC [Kendall's coefficient concordance] for all voxels within a given mask? (say, if we use Yeo's parcellation of major brain networks). Could you please suggest a function/script I can look into?

How to make a Grey Matter mask by using REST?

Submitted by gekehe on

Hi:

I want to make a gray matter mask with GM probabilities greater than 20%. I've found there are brainmasks in REST, but I don't know whether they are gray matter masks or whole brain masks and what interpolating thresholds  were used. Would you plese teach me how to make a Grey Matter mask by using REST or dpabi? Thanks a lot!

difference between "ROI_FCMap.txt" and "ROISignals.txt"?

Submitted by Lisa_Kr on

Hello,

I don't quite understand the conceptual difference between these outputs of the Functional Connectivity option. Both have as many rows as there are time points. Is it correct that "ROI_FCMap.txt" is the average correlation between the ROI and the rest of the brain at each time point and "ROISignals.txt" is the average activation of the ROI at every time point? Also are these numbers already z-transformed or not?

Thank you so much for your help!

DPARSF error after reorientation of images

Submitted by dbd18 on

Dear experts,

I am new to DPARSF A and I would like to use this software to analyse resting state data from a series of subjects.

After having set all the parameters and prepared the data in the required way, I tried to run the software from the gui but I get the following error:

Groupmask after Dartel has holes

Submitted by David on

Hi,

just found out, that when using Dartel the Group mask as created with the GroupMask tool with DPABI shows holes, i.e. missing/empty voxels.  The indivual wAutoMask-files for the subjects also have those holes.

Solution seems to be to smooth the wAutoMask files, which gets rid of the holes  and the GroupMask looks fine thereafter.

Just something that can be considered in next releases :)
