DPABISurf Installation on Windows

1. Update to latest Win 10 or Upgrade to Win 11.
2. Enable Virtual Technology in BIOS
2.1. Restart -> Enter BIOS (during rebooting, hit enter and then F1 or FN+F2)
2.2. Enable “Intel Virtual Technology”
3. Install WSL
3.1. Administrator PowerShell
3.2. wsl --install
3.3. Restart
4. Install Docker for Windows
5. Change Docker File Location. (Administrator CMD)
wsl --shutdown
wsl --list -v (Check if all are Stopped)
mkdir E:\Docker\wsl\data\
wsl --export docker-desktop-data "E:\Docker\wsl\data\docker-desktop-data.tar"
wsl --unregister docker-desktop-data
wsl --import docker-desktop-data "E:\Docker\wsl\data" "E:\Docker\wsl\data\docker-desktop-data.tar" --version 2
del E:\Docker\wsl\data\docker-desktop-data.tar
Restart
6. Install DPABI if has MATLAB
7. Pull DPABISurf Docker. Powershell: docker load –i F:\dpabidocker.tar.gz or docker pull cgyan/dpabi
9. Change the power mode to never sleep when plugged in
10. Test DPABISurf processing by running DPABI->DPABISurf->Utilities->Volume-Surface Projector. If the file can be successfully projected to surface, then the software is all set.
