Are DPARSF's realign parameter the same as SPM default parameter?

Hello, I am wondering whether DPARSF's realign parameter the same as SPM default parameter or not.

Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Cherry,

Yes. It use a six-parameter (rigid body) linear transformation with a two- pass procedure (registered to the first image and then registered to the mean of the images after the first realignment).

Thanks for your kindly answer. I also want to confirm that the other parameters ( e.g. Quality, separation, interpolation) are also the same with the values in spm_defaults.m? Or if I change the values in spm_defaults.m, the DPARSF will change accordingly?

Hi Cherry,

I think it should. However, would you like to do an experiment to test if the results changed once you change spm_defaults.m?

Best,
