The ALFF results appeared like grids

Hi Prof Yan/experts/users, 

I found that when I didn't choose  spatial smoothing in the preprocessing, the ALFF results(rhesus) appeared like grids. In addition, when I used public data(rhesus) provided by AFNI, the same thing happened. I want to know why grids appear.
