Thresholding of Atlases?

Submitted by hoptman on

Hi all,

Can the atlases bundled with the DPABI be thresholded in a probabilistic manner?  My assumption is that they are hard segmentations, but if so, what is the segmentation based on.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Some can, like the Harvard-Oxford atlas.

Some can not, like the AAL and Broadmann atlas.

Hi Chao-Gan,

I guess what I was asking was whether the Harvard-Oxford atlas packaged with dpabi was thresholded, or whether it is the 0% threshold version.

Per the name: HarvardOxford-cort-maxprob-thr25-2mm_YCG.nii
This is thresholded at 25%.
