DPARSF Error/Bug Report Parallel Pool

Submitted by eglee on

Hi All,

I just wanted to share my experience about an error I got in DPARSF in case anyone else comes across it or in case the DPARSF creators want to fix this in future versions.

I have been running DPARSF jobs and they seem to fail a portion of the time somewhere after the initiation of the BET step.

Before this step, DPARSF requires user input (in my batch at least) saying "No co* images found" or something along those lines.

Between group FC

Submitted by Patrizia on

Dear Yan,

Although I am still learning, I am very happy with your software for the resting state analyses.

However, I have a doubt. I performed the FC analyes considering the ROI1. Then, I used SPM to compare two groups G1 and G2. At the whole brain, I obtain a significative difference between the two groups in the cluster C1.

Difference between time series extracted by "Functional Connectivity" analysis and "Extract ROI Time Courses"

Submitted by YAN Chao-Gan on

In DPARSF, "Extract ROI time courses" can extract the ROI time courses from the defined ROIs, as stored in: ROISignals in {WorkingDir}/Results/ROISignals_FunImgARCWF/ROISignals_Sub_001.mat

"Functional Connectivity" analysis can also extract the ROI time courses, as stored in: SeedSeries in {WorkingDir}/Results/FC_FunImgARCWF/ROI_FCMap_Sub_001.mat

关於FC分析

您好,

我是DPABI的新使用者,关於FC跑完後的结果,想确认我的理解是否正确。

每个参与者有170个TR,一共设置了6个ROI,并勾选了Functional Connectivity以及Extract ROI time courses

最後我在Result资料夹得到了FC_FunImgARCFWS, ROISignals_FunImgARCFWS, VMHC_FunImgARCFWSsym三个资料夹

我想我要的资料应该在FC_FunImgARCFWS与ROISignals_FunImgARCFWS两个资料夹内

FC_FunImgARCFWS内有以下档案:

ROI_FCMap_XXX.mat: 读取後在workspace得到名为SeedSeries的variable,为170(TR数) x 6 (ROI数)的矩阵。

Question about DPABI viewer

Submitted by mitaomian on

Dear Yan,

When I used DPABI viewer, I had one question about the lateral issues. As you mentioned in the Multimedia Course, the left of picture is actully the right hemisphere, as we known in the clinical practice. However, the atlas in DPABI viewer present the opposite result. In another word, the left picture was shown to be the left hemisphere, as illustrated in the attachment. This bothers me a lot.

Please help me out. Thank you so much.

   Best,

  Mia

How best to handle subjects with different number of runs?

Submitted by eglee on

Hello All,

I am using DPARSF to process my resting state data which will primarily be used in seed to whole brain analyses .

I have about 15 subjects that have been scanned before/after an intervention.

12 of those subjects have two resting state scans for each visit, but three of the subjects only have one scan for one of their visits.

What is the best way to handle this in DPABI?

What I have currently been doing is splitting all the data up so that each run is thought of as a different subject.
