Dear Prof. YAN,
I'm having problems in DPARSF to calculate VMHC. It is the only process that the software does not perform for me.
Here's what I can read about VMHC in DPARSF (I have version 5.4):
For VMHC analyses, support normalizing the data further to a symmetric template. 1) Get the T1 images in MNI space (e.g., wco*.img or wco*.nii under T1ImgNewSegment or T1ImgSegment) for each subject, and then create a mean T1 image template (averaged across all the subjects). 2) Create a symmetric T1 template by averaging the mean T1 template (created in Step 1) with it's flipped version (flipped over x axis). 3) Normalize the T1 image in MNI space (e.g., wco*.img or wco*.nii under T1ImgNewSegment or T1ImgSegment) for each subject to the symmetric T1 template (created in Step 2), and apply the transformations to the functional data (which have been normalized to MNI space beforehand). Please see a reference from Zuo et al., 2010.
Are these steps done by DPARSF or with which tool? However, I cannot perform VMHC correctly. I've GroupT1MeanTemplate.nii and SymmetricGroupT1MeanTemplate.nii but I don't know what to do with these files. I'm a beginner.
Can you guide me from this checkpoint?

Hi,
From the current message, I can not figure out what caused this problem.
Could you run one of the demo data (http://rfmri.org/DemoData) with the default parameters to see if it can run smoothly?
Best,
Chao-Gan
Hi Chao-Gan,Yes, I can run…
Hi Chao-Gan,
Yes, I can run the demo data (dcm) successfully.
Do you have raw data (dcm)…
Do you have raw data (dcm) for your own data?
If so, could you try start from FunRaw to see if it succeed?
Best,
Chao-Gan
Hi Chao-Gan,Yes, I have raw…
Hi Chao-Gan,
Yes, I have raw data (dcm) but is the same result.
set voxel size below 3*3*3 had strange normalization figure
Dear DPARSF experts, I use DPARSF to perform rsfmri study. I found the when I set the voxel size below 3x3x3, the Pictures for checking normalization became strange (see attach figure). It look like many dark line in the brain. could I ask why and how to correct it ?
Please see http://rfmri.org…
Please see http://rfmri.org/content/problem-normalization. I recommend not set such a small voxel size given your acquisition voxel size.
