Question about CWAS

Submitted by YukiSakai on

Dear DPARSF experts,

Thank you for developping this useful tool!

 I have question about CWAS.

Although it woks very well in most cases, I got strange results sometimes. I attached the example of F_1_CWAS.nii (example.png). Like this, in some cases, I got nothing. I checked the all preprocessing steps, but there were notihg wrong. Of course, there were no apparent erros in all steps. Why did it happen?

 Best,

 Yuki

What are those predefined spheres?

Submitted by phil1022 on

Dear Chao-Gan,

In your most recent version of DPARSFA, you added a new version of templete. In this new templete, once clicked in the Define ROI interface, there are a lot of predefined 5 mm sphere ROIs along with AAL and other ROIs.

I did not pay attention to them at begining which turned out to be over 70 G of masks when I selected "wrap back to native space".

Use DPABI/DPARSF for task-based fMRI analysis without T1 images

Submitted by lindazhang on

Hi Dr Yan,

Thanks for releasing the useful DPABI/DPARSF. But the problem I am encountered now is: my data doesn't include T1 images, so cannot conduct Segement by DPABI/DPARSF. Then furtherly, I cannot use the motion correction steps which is very important when constructing the functional network. So do you have any advice for handling this situation? Or there is something I have not figure out of using this toolbox?

Thanks a lot.

Best,

Linda

How is the relations between ALFF, ReHo and fALFF?

Submitted by daiqingshi on

Dear Dr. Yan,
Have any studies examined the relations betweeen ALFF, ReHo and fALFF?
In my studies, the ReHo of LIFG were negatively associated with task effect of inferior LIFG, while the ALFF of LIFG was positively associated with task effect of superior LIFG. So I am interesting in the relations among these three indices.
thanks.

"Too many .nii.gz files in each subject's directory" error while reading in participants

Submitted by Lisa_Kr on

Hello,

I am new to DPARSFA and I hope you can help me. I got the following error after specifying my working directory and starting directory (FunImg): "Too many .nii.gz files in each subject's directory, should only keep one 4D .nii.gz file". However, it is only a test run with one subject, so I have one .nii file for this subject in FunImg folder and one .nii.gz file for this subject in the T1Img folder (so one file in each folder in total). What can cause the problem?

Thanks a lot!

Lisa

Error report in DPABI-Image Calculator-“i1.*g1”

Submitted by Lei.Gao on

Dear Prof. Dr. Yan,

I'd be grateful if you could take time to help me. When I mask a group of images (*.nii format) with a binary individual mask (*.nii format) in DPABI → Utilities → Image Calculator (both DPABI_V2.0_151201 and DPABI_V1.3_150710 version), the following error is displayed:

DPABI V2.0 and DPARSF V4.0 are released

Submitted by YAN Chao-Gan on
Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the release of DPABI V2.0 and DPARSF V4.0.

New features of DPABI_V2.0_151201 and DPARSF_V4.0_151201:
1. Compatible with MATLAB 2014b and later versions.
2. Process the data both with and without global signal regression (GSR). Check “Nuisance regressors setting” -> “Both with & without GSR”. Alternatively, you can call DPARSFA_RerunWithGSR.m. E.g., DPARSFA_RerunWithGSR(DPARSFACfg.mat); where DPARSFACfg.mat stores the previous parameters without GSR.
3.
