The Cluster connection radius in DPABI AlphaSim

When I applied AlphaSim in dpabi. I found  the default Cluster connection radius is 18, which is different from AlphaSim in REST (rmm=5).  Is something wrong or both of them are correct?

Hi,

In DPABI, cluster connection criterion is defined as "face connected (has 6 neighbors)", "edge connected (has 18 neighbors)" or "corner connected (has 26 neighbors)".

In AFNI or REST, it's defined by rmm, the distance between the center of two voxels. rmm need to be translated into cluster connection criterion (6,18,26).

Does it means  if the resolusion is 2*2*2,  I don't need to change the rmm when I  choose "edge connected" in DPABI? While in REST the rmm should be changed to 3.

Hi,
If you set rmm=3 for voxel size of 2*2*2, then it's equivalent to "edge connected (18 neighbors)".
